GlucoSense makes managing your blood glucose simpler and more insightful than a typical CGM or insulin pump app. The GlucoScore gives you a single, simple score from 1-10 every day to help you understand your overall glucose level management. Lifestyle Insights show you how meals, exercises, and daily habits affect your glucose. AI Carb Counting lets you estimate the carbs in your food in less than 10 seconds by taking a photo or providing a short description. Device Integrations connect with your favorite continuous glucose monitors (Dexcom & Freestyle Libre) and fitness trackers (Apple Watch, Oura, WHOOP, Garmin, and Fitbit).

What are glucose levels? Why is managing them important?

Keeping these levels within a healthy range helps ensure your body has the energy it needs without unnecessary strain on organs. Effective management through balanced meals, regular exercise, medication (if needed), and routine monitoring supports better energy, stable moods, and lower risks of short- and long-term complications. Over time, unmanaged high or low glucose levels can lead to serious health issues such as nerve damage, vision loss, and cardiovascular problems.

For Pre-Diabetes, GlucoSense provides early detection of glucose and lifestyle trends to help you proactively adjust diet and exercise. What is the GlucoScore?

The GlucoScore is a single, daily score that helps you assess your overall glucose level management. You can also receive GlucoScores for events like sleep, meals, workouts, and more.

Why didn't I get a GlucoScore for an event?

Accepted Answer

It's likely that there wasn't enough blood sugar data for GlucoSense to analyze during the event's analysis window. Check and make sure your CGM is connected to your GlucoSense account. Ensure that your CGM app is open and running on your phone. If you continue to have this issue, please reach out to support@glucosense.ai.

My Stelo CGM is not working. How do I request a replacement?

Accepted Answer

Requesting a replacement is simple and takes less than 5 minutes: 1) Visit the Stelo Website and Log In to your Stelo Account. 2) In the top navigation tap Support. 3) Scroll down until you see Report an Issue and click Chat with a Stelo Bot. 4) When the SteloBot asks "How can I assist you?" select Report an Issue and follow the instructions. 5) Once your submission is complete, you will receive a confirmation email that Dexcom is reviewing your submission. 6) A replacement is typically delivered within 5-7 days.

My Dexcom G7 is connected, but I don't see any glucose data in the GlucoSense app. What's going on?

Accepted Answer

If your Dexcom G7 is successfully connected but your GlucoSense app isn't showing any glucose data, it may be because the Dexcom G7 app is not uploading your data to Dexcom's cloud. GlucoSense does not pull data directly from your CGM — we rely on Dexcom's cloud system to receive and display your readings. This is a known issue with the G7. Double-check that you're fully signed into the Dexcom G7 app. Log into Dexcom Clarity — if your data doesn't appear there, it won't appear in our app either. Still stuck? Yes, GlucoSense connects with a variety of continuous glucose monitors including Dexcom (G6, G7, and Stelo) and Abbott Freestyle Libre.

Yes, GlucoSense connects with a variety of fitness trackers including Apple Watch (via Apple Health), Google Fit, Fitbit, Oura ring, WHOOP, and Garmin.

How do I connect my devices (CGM & Fitness Tracker)?

Accepted Answer

Go to your Profile Page by selecting the icon in the top right corner of the screen. Select Devices > Add a New Device > Select your device type > Enter your credentials. Once you connect your device, we'll begin loading in some of your past data to help you get started. If your device is connected but you don't see your data after a few minutes, contact support@glucosense.ai.

Why can't I see blood sugar data from my Dexcom CGM?

It's possible that the connection between your Dexcom app and GlucoSense got interrupted. Check and make sure your CGM is connected to your GlucoSense account. Ensure that your CGM app is open and running on your phone. Remove and reconnect your Dexcom in the GlucoSense app. If you continue to have this issue, please reach out to support@glucosense.ai.

Why can't I see blood sugar data from my Stelo CGM?

It's possible that the connection between your Stelo app and GlucoSense got interrupted. Check that your CGM is connected to your GlucoSense account in Profile > My Devices. Ensure that your CGM app is open and running on your phone. Check your Apple Health or Health Connect permissions. Remove and reconnect your Stelo in the GlucoSense app. If you continue to have this issue, please reach out to support@glucosense.ai.

How do I track meals and use the AI carb counter?

You can log meals with powerful AI photo recognition, typing out a description, or using speech-to-text descriptions. To log snacks and meals, tap the blue + button in the bottom menu. Select either Describe your food or Photo of your food. You can manually set the time for your log in the upper right corner of the screen. Tap Analyze Nutrition when you're done, and GlucoSense will quickly give you estimates for calories, carbs, protein, and fat content.

Can I edit the time of my meal after it's logged?

Yes! You can edit the time of your logged meal from the meal's details page. Tap the meal you want to edit from either the Insights page or in your Nutrition Log. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Select Edit Event Time. Set the time and tap Done.

How do I delete a meal I logged?

You can delete a logged meal from the meal's details page. Tap the meal you want to edit from either the Insights page or in your Nutrition Log. Tap the 3 dots in the upper right corner. Select Delete Event. Tap Delete to confirm.

Can I see all of my logged meals?

Accepted Answer

Yes! To view a full list of your food entries, go to your Home page and scroll down. Under your glucose graph you'll see 4 categories: sleep, activity, insulin, and nutrition. Tap the nutrition button and you'll go to the Nutrition Log, where you can see all of your meals and their scores.

What is a Share Code?

Every GlucoSense member has a Share Code: a unique 6-digit code. Share codes are used for connecting members through the Community tab in the mobile app. Members can follow each other and choose to share certain parts of their profile with trusted individuals. You can also connect with select clinics and care providers using their organization's share code.

What is my Share Code?

In your app Profile, your Share Code is listed under your name at the top of the page. Your Share Code is a 6-digit code that is unique to you. You can also find your Share Code on the Community tab towards the top of the page.

Can I share my data with my doctor?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Your care providers can follow you on GlucoSense by creating an account and adding your Share Code. You can choose to give them either Limited or Full access to your profile.

Can I share my data with my family and friends?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Your family and friends can follow you on GlucoSense by creating an account and adding your Share Code. You can send your code by going to Community tab > Add connection button > Send my Share Code. Limited Access lets them see your GlucoScore and most recent blood sugar value. Full Access lets them see your full dashboard including all GlucoScores, blood sugar graphs, insights, and management trends.

How do I follow someone on GlucoSense?

You'll need to know their Share Code. They can send it via Community tab > Add connection button > Send my Share Code. Once you have it, tap the + button in the bottom menu > Add Connection > Add a Member's Share Code > enter the code and tap Submit. You can also do this from the Community tab directly.

How do I remove a follower?

Go to the Community tab. Tap into the Connections page. Go to your list of followers. Select the name of the person you want to remove. Tap Remove follower and confirm.
